Can I come and try your caravan or motorhome mattresses?
We understand how important it is to try out a mattress before you buy one. You can visit our showroom in Morecambe, Lancashire to test out our entire range of mattresses for yourself. We're open Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm. If you'd prefer to visit on a Saturday, we recommend booking an appointment in advance so we can make sure a member of our team is available to assist you.

What is the difference between 1000 and 2000 pocket sprung mattress?
Pocket sprung mattresses feature unique coils encased in separate fabric pockets. Because of this independent movement, each coil can contour to your body's curves, offering targeted pressure relief and personalised support throughout the night.
We offer two firmness options:
1000 Pocket sprung: This provides a medium support level, similar to a high-street "medium" mattress. Ideal for those who enjoy a balance of comfort and support.
2000 Pocket sprung: This offers a medium-firm support level, similar to a high-street "medium-firm" mattress. Perfect for those who prefer a firmer feel with excellent back support.
What comfort layer options do you provide?
We offer three types of comfort filling to help you achieve a restful night’s sleep:
Synthetic fillings: A cost-effective option that provides a comfortable and supportive sleep experience.
Memory foam: Known for its pressure-relieving properties, memory foam conforms to your body shape for personalised comfort.
Natural fillings: For those who prefer a more breathable option to help with body temperature regulation throughout the night.

What size are caravan or motorhome mattresses?
Unlike standard mattresses, caravan and motorhome beds come in a variety of shapes and sizes, so there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. For example, your caravan may have an island bed, cutoff bed, or rectangular bed.
We have been handcrafting mattresses since 2006, and over the years we have developed a large database of caravan and motorhome makes and models. All of our mattresses are made to order, to ensure they will perfectly fit your specific bed.
Can you put a normal mattress in a caravan bed?
Sometimes you might wish you can take your mattress from home with you, but unfortunately, because of the awkward shapes of caravan and motorhome beds, a domestic size mattress won’t fit your vehicle’s bed frame.
To give you the same level of comfort as your home mattress, we handcraft 1000 and 2000 pocket sprung mattresses, with a variety of fillings, that are custom-made to perfectly fit your caravan or motorhome bed.
How can I make my caravan bed more comfortable?
The foam mattresses you typically find in caravans and motorhomes become worn and thin quickly and so you might experience discomfort over time.
If you are looking for a quick and affordable solution, a caravan mattress topper will be able to breathe new life into your mattress. However, if you are wanting extra support and comfort, a custom-made caravan mattress is the best option.
What is the process of ordering with Jonic?
Ordering with Jonic is a simple process. Here's how it works:

Select your model: Before adding your chosen mattress to your basket, take a moment to enter your vehicles' make, range, model, and year. We have a comprehensive database built since 2006 that stores the dimensions for most caravan and motorhome beds. In most cases, entering this information will allow us to match you with the perfect size mattress for your specific vehicle.

Confirmation and production: Once you've placed your order, a member of our team will reach out to you by email to confirm the dimensions we have on file for your caravan or motorhome bed. Double-check the measurements to ensure they match your bed. Once you confirm the size is correct and you're happy to proceed, your custom-made mattress will go into production.

Handcrafted & delivered: As soon as your mattress is expertly handcrafted, we'll despatch it for delivery. Our delivery courier will then contact you directly to arrange a convenient delivery date.

What if we don’t have your dimensions?
We understand that not all caravan or motorhome beds are the same. That's why we offer custom-made mattresses to fit any size, even if your specific dimensions aren't in our database.

Templating your bed:
There are two easy ways to provide the necessary measurements for your custom mattress:
Send us a template: Simply measure your current mattress to create a paper template of your bed's shape with the dimensions clearly marked. You can then send us a picture or scan of the template for us to reference by emailing info@jonic-uk.co.uk.
Use our templating kit: Not confident in creating your own template? We offer templating kits that include everything you need to easily and accurately measure your caravan bed. Simply request a kit during checkout or to a member of our customer service team.
Once you've provided us with the dimensions of your bed, we'll use that information to handcraft your mattress.
